Shawn Glogowski, CFP®

Principal & Chief Compliance Officer

Shawn C. Glogowski, CFP® is a principal in the firm and is also GCW Capital’s Chief Compliance Officer. Shawn is responsible for helping clients create, implement, and monitor their comprehensive financial plans. Shawn is passionate about the planning process and spends his time educating clients on investment, retirement, and estate strategies to meet their needs.   

Shawn is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, and he holds a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations with The American College.

In addition to his practice, Shawn currently conducts seminars in the Western New York area on various topics in financial planning, including investments, retirement & estate planning. He is involved in the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and Financial Planning Counselors of WNY. 

In his spare time, Shawn is a past President of the Rotary Club of the Tonawandas, enjoys golf, running, and is an avid SCUBA diver and Buffalo Sabres fan. He lives in the Buffalo, NY area with his wife, Sarah and two daughters, Addison & Olivia.

Thomas Waring Jr.


Tom has been active in the financial services industry since 1982 and is the founder of Waring Financial Group and co-founder GCW Capital. Tom focuses on serving closely held family businesses, key executives and high net worth individuals. He provides his clients with holistic business and personal financial planning including business succession planning, estate analysis, insurance planning, investment solutions, selective key employee and employer benefits and charitable giving. He is also CEO of Family & Business Directions, LLC, a consulting business established in 2010 to help business owners and families to successfully develop “Family Wealth” sustainability. He also serves as a Director and Human Resources & Compensation Chair of Evans Bank. Tom resides in Hamburg, New York.

Peter Campo

Senior Financial Advisor

Pete Campo has been practicing since 2006 where he primarily focuses on retirement planning, Employee Benefits, Financial Planning, and Risk Management for individuals, as well as businesses. 

Pete spends a great deal of his time working in the area of qualified retirement plans and employee benefits where he works diligently with plan sponsors and plan participants to help them understand their needs for retirement planning and overall financial planning.  One of the things which sets Pete apart is his ability to break complex topics down and help relate them to aspects of everyday life. In addition, Pete enjoys conducting seminars in the areas of financial planning; including investments, retirement, business succession & estate planning.

Janine Breeden

New business coordinator - Gcw capital

Janine joined the firm in June of 2012. Since her arrival, she has provided the firm with professionalism and superior effort in all of her duties. She was an integral part of a long-term conversion project where her input and expertise helped streamline the digital imaging process. In January of 2014, Janine transitioned to the role of primary administrative assistant in addition to her duties on the paperless project. Janine has a keen eye for detail and strives to provide the perfect client experience each day.

Janine is a past Eden Central School District PTA Building Coordinator and the Event Coordinator for Cub Scout Pack 603. She received certification from Microsoft in 2012 for her proficiency in Microsoft Office software. In her spare time Janine enjoys staying active and volunteering in her community. Janine lives in Eden, New York with her husband Michael and their two sons, Jared & Joshua.

Kathryn Christman


Kathryn joined the firm in February of 2016.  Her role as client services administrator involves creating an ideal environment & experience for all clients.  From first impressions to ongoing service, Kathryn is a critical part of the team to support our advisers and clients.

Kathryn is a past Crime Analyst with the Onondaga Crime Analysis Center in Syracuse, NY, where she was in charge of creating and maintaining crime databases and analyzing reported crimes throughout the county. She holds a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Bachelor of Art degrees in both History and Sociology from the University at Albany. Kathryn also holds a NYS Crime Analyst Certification, various Microsoft Office certifications, and an ESRI arcGIS certification. 

In her spare time, Kathryn enjoys training for 5K and Half Marathons, snowboarding, and camping in the Adirondacks. Additionally, Kathryn is an active volunteer with the SPCA. Kathryn recently moved to the Lancaster, NY area.
